Email info@growplant.com from any email address you use. Include the registered phone number you use as your Growplant username, with its country code. Do not send your password or verification code.

Account and data deletion
Request deletion of your Growplant account and associated personal data. You do not need to reinstall the app or sign in.

Account ownership is verified
Account ownership is verified through the phone number registered to your Growplant account. Providing a phone number alone is not sufficient to delete the account.
The account and associated data are deleted
After verification, your request is assessed as soon as possible. You will be notified by email when the process is complete or if further information is needed.
Data to be deleted
Your account is closed. Associated personal data not legally required to be retained is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Depending on the services you use, this may include:
- Name, email, phone number and user profile information
- Account access and user authorisation information
- Personal data in device associations, control commands and automation records linked to your account
- Personal data in alarms, notifications and support records linked to your account
Records that must be retained
Records subject to mandatory retention for tax, accounting, security, legal disputes or other statutory obligations may be kept solely for necessary purposes until the applicable mandatory retention period ends. The period depends on the record type and applicable legislation; afterwards, records are deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Further details are provided in the KVKK and Privacy notice.

In the Growplant app, go to Profile / Account → Delete My Account. Uninstalling the app from your phone does not delete your Growplant account or its associated data.
What happens after deletion
Once your account is deleted, access to Growplant services through that account ends. Deleted personal data cannot be recovered. An account deletion request does not replace a control command needed to safely stop connected physical equipment.
